Friday, March 2, 2012 at 3:16AM In 2011, a bunch of bruh's headed to Calgary Entertainment expo, and decided to document the entire trip. They died, thus, this is the found footage! I wasn't sure whether or not to post this to my actual website, or whether or not to make this video Private or not. In the end, I got too good of critiques about it to not post it. "It's fun," I've heard directly, and it totally is. Once my bigger, badder project, Building Edmonton Ep. 2 is in the bin, I'm totally going to cut this into a living, breathing found-footy film.
Friday, March 2, 2012 at 12:21AM The final product is 36 minutes long, and it's a heck of an interview with Patrick Mah of Blue Willow Restaurant in Oliver, Edmonton. As a spur of the moment thing, I decided to wield my iPhone as a camera and show the world exactly how many cuts and edits went into this dealy-majigger.
And given the nature of the video, I found it prudent to use my distinct "tutorial voice" for this video. I knew you'd all find it a ton more professional.
Is it just me, or does only one dude voice every media tool tutorial on the internet? Not that I'm complaining. His dulcet tones have set me to slumber on more than one occasion...

Originally, I just wanted to model the powerbox on the snow covered lawn, but my photo references of it also included the yard, so I started making that, too. I mean, a power box is simple and interesting looking, but then I made snow, and then I made the fence, and then I made a house and deck. I can't wait to start the trees.
The thing that bugs me the most are is the bay window. I'm going to have to make that more creative looking. What a boring home, otherwise, eh?
